Here's a bedroom

Again this room is very dark, and cold. What can we do to improve it?

Which makes a better bedroom, the loft or the bedroom?

The loft is upstairs, up very scary spiral stares that two of our family members can't get up safely.

We need another bedroom!

Here is one option for a bedroom. It's a loft. There's one window, no heat, and no closet. Obviously it's been functioning as a play room just fine. However, the living room is right underneath, so this room with not be a quite bedroom.
